Trusts have been widely used for preservation of assets, succession, and tax planning. Regulatory frameworks of many jurisdictions including the UAE provide for trust mechanism. However, there are a lot of peculiarities which shall be considered before establishing a trust. In this article we briefly describe the concept of trust and its regulation in the UAE.

Cryptocurrencies are widely known to bear speculatory implications, however, as the first decade, since launching cryptocurrency is gradually passing over, the worldwide practice might already demonstrate the examples of crypto-transactions in corporate operations.

Although there were no taxes in the UAE till 2018, the current tax rate remains competitive in the GCC region. During this period, while adopting the most effective global practices, the UAE government was implementing the tax regime gradually.

The UAE is growing every year, becoming a hub for foreign investors. In the first 8 months of 2021, there were 16,000 new registered companies. The legal form of a director in the UAE differs from forms in other countries, for example, countries in the CIS region.
