Hemali is a Tax Consultant in Garant Business Consultancy DMCC, focused on Tax Advisory and compliance support with expertise in UAE VAT laws, and International Tax Structuring. She also works with the accounting department to ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
Before joining Garant, Hemali conducted an Internal Audit of the Head office of Vasai Janata Sahakari Bank in India.

- Transaction structuring with a goal to reduce tax burden.
- Numerous tax and financial Due Diligence both on buy-side and sell-side for the company's clients.
- Providing advisory on Corporate Tax, Value Added Tax and related matters through analysis of laws and international aspects.
- Assistance with various compliances in relation to Economic Substance Regulations (ESR) and Ultimate Beneficial Ownership.
- Managing Books of Accounts in accordance with IFRS and other applicable policies.
- Preparation of monthly Management reports (MIS) and financial schedules.
- Assistance with VAT Registration, VAT Accounting and Quarterly Filing of VAT returns.
- Assistance with Anti Money Laundering (AML) compliances as per the law.
- Application for Tax Residency Certificate (TRC).
- Managing team to ensure monthly closing procedures and done smoothly, aligned with the deadlines and training team members.
- Preparation of Salaries and HR-related payments.
